Career Readiness Programme · Applications open

From elite sportto your nextcareer. In 6 weeks.

A personal career programme designed for elite athletes who are lost, stuck, or ready to build a life beyond sport.

Own your future
The transition

Leaving sport is the hardest transition most people ever face.

The structure disappears

The schedule that's defined your life since childhood just stops.

Your identity shifts

For the first time, you don't know who you are outside the sport.

You're on your own

No one around you knows what this really feels like.

"I used to be so anxious about stepping outside of my comfort zone off the pitch. MOJOE gave me a safe place to develop."
— Tom Conlon, Professional Footballer
Who this is for

Built for athletes who are ready to own what comes next.

If you've ever been elite at anything — this was built for you.

Who's behind this

Built by people who've sat in your seat.

Joe Davis and Tim Alexander founded MOJOE after Joe's first-hand struggles when trying to translate his sporting experiences into a meaningful career. And then seeing other friends and teammates facing similar challenges. Not because they lacked ability — but because nobody had built the right structure to help them do it.

MOJOE exists to fix that through blending innovative technology with bespoke, human-driven support. The Career Readiness Programme is the most direct version of that mission — personal, structured, and built entirely around the athlete's outcome, not ours.

The payment might not come from your pocket.

Most athletes don't know they're sitting on untapped development funding. Here's where to look.

PFA & player unions

The PFA has a dedicated education fund. Career transition support is an eligible expense. Mention it when you apply and we'll help you make the case.

Governing body grants

Sport England, UK Sport, and many NGBs run transition and welfare grants for elite athletes. We'll help you identify what you qualify for.

Your club's duty of care

If you're still contracted, your welfare officer may be able to cover this directly. Ask before you pay anything out of pocket.

Not sure what you're entitled to? Ask us when you apply — we'll point you in the right direction.

Questions athletes always ask us.

Answered honestly.

Fully remote — every session happens online, so it works around your training, fixtures, family, or current job. There's no fixed location and no need to travel. Sessions are scheduled around you, not the other way round. If you're based in the North West or London, optional in-person meetups are available on request.

You pay nothing more. Ever. The £250 will cover every element of the programme regardless of outcome. The £1,000 only falls due six months after you start a new role, because we're so confident you will see the value in our programme. No placement means no further cost.

Yes. Sessions flex around your training schedule and fixtures. A number of athletes on the programme are dual-career — building their next chapter while still performing. We work around you, not the other way round.

You probably don't — and most athletes don't either. Tell us your sport and membership when you apply and we'll check eligibility on the intro call. PFA members and UK Sport-funded athletes in particular have access to a pot of funding that covers exactly this kind of programme. Most just don't know it.

Any elite background. We work with footballers, rugby players, hockey players, track and field athletes, cricketers, and more. If you've operated at a high performance level — professional, semi-professional, or national — this was built for you.

Six weeks for the structured programme. Ongoing support continues until you land a role — there's no cut-off point where we stop. We stay with you.

Not ready to apply yet? No problem.

Drop us an email and we'll answer any questions.
